Free Eye Screening Camp

Rotary Club of Biratnagar Fusion organized a Free Eye Screening Camp as a joint service project with its sponsored club, Rotary Club of Biratnagar Gemini, in collaboration with Ramlal Golchha Eye Hospital. The programme covered 7 wards of Budiganga Gaupalika, Morang, and reached approximately 1,800 people through eye-health awareness. A total of 194 patients underwent free eye screening, including diabetic retinopathy screening. Ten cataract patients were identified for surgical intervention, and 6 cataract surgeries were subsequently performed/facilitated. The project focused on early detection, preventive eye care and connecting patients requiring further treatment with appropriate medical support.
