Introduction
In line with Rotary's commitment to environmental sustainability and community service, the Rotary Club of Lumbini Siddharthanagar organized a Tree Plantation Program on 1 August 2026 at the Providence Police Office, Bhairahawa. The event was graced by Chief Guest DSP Krishna Kumar Chand from the District Police Office, Rupandehi. A total of 55 participants attended and actively contributed to the initiative.
Objectives
To support the overarching goals of Rotary District 3292 to plant one lakh (100,000) saplings across the region.
To contribute to environmental protection and conservation through targeted tree plantation.
To increase local green cover, promote biodiversity, and foster a healthier ecosystem.
To strengthen community collaboration and partnership between the Rotary Club and local police authorities.
To inspire community members toward long-term environmental stewardship and conservation responsibility.
