Project Description
The STAR Project is an initiative of the Rotary Club of Patan under its KPAD Fund, implemented in partnership with Ability Development Society of Nepal (ADSoN) and supported by The Rose International Fund for Children (TRIFC). The project focuses on empowering Persons with Disabilities through practical vocational skills that can lead to self-employment, income generation, and sustainable livelihoods.
On 3 September 2026, the Graduation Ceremony of the 6th Batch of the STAR Project was organised in Banepa, Kavrepalanchok. A total of 12 participants, including women with physical disabilities and parents of women with intellectual disabilities, successfully completed 10 days of practical Mushroom Farming Training.
The successful completion of the 6th batch reflects Rotary Club of Patan’s continued commitment to inclusive development and creating meaningful livelihood and economic opportunities for Persons with Disabilities and their families.
