Project Description
Rotary Club of Greenland Supports Geriatric Society of Nepal Health Camp in Nuwakot
Rotary Club of Greenland Kathmandu supported the Geriatric Society of Nepal in organizing a comprehensive health camp at Bidur Municipality–3, Nuwakot, to support the communities affected by the Bhotekoshi flood of August 16, 2026.
The health camp focused particularly on senior citizens and local residents who were affected by the disaster and had limited access to essential healthcare services.
A range of specialized medical services was provided, including general consultation, orthopedic, cardiology, dental, osteopathy, and psychological services. The program provided much-needed medical consultation and support to the affected community.
Approximately 200 beneficiaries received services during the health camp.
The event was jointly organized in collaboration with Rotary Club of Godawari and Rotary Club of Kathmandu, reflecting the spirit of Rotary's commitment to Service Above Self and strengthening communities during times of crisis.
Rotary Club of Greenland Kathmandu remains committed to supporting vulnerable communities and contributing to their health, well-being, and recovery.
