Project Description
On 30th Aug 2026,Demonstrating Rotary’s commitment to standing together in times of crisis, the Rotary Club of Yala handed over a cheque of NPR 150,000 to RI District 3292 Governor Rtn. Bishnu Bahadur Karkee as the Club’s contribution to the Disaster Relief Fund.
The contribution comes in response to the devastating floods and disasters that have affected communities across Nepal, leaving families displaced, homes damaged and livelihoods disrupted. The fund will support relief and recovery efforts for affected communities, helping provide essential assistance to families who need it most.
The initiative reflects the spirit of “Service Above Self” and demonstrates that collective action can create meaningful change. Every contribution, regardless of size, adds strength to the relief effort and helps Rotary reach more vulnerable beneficiaries.
Through this contribution, the Rotary Club of Yala reaffirms its commitment to standing together, responding to need and creating lasting impact in communities affected by disasters.
